About This Project

Issue: Time is of the essence. The men’s locker room was closed on Friday evening for a complete remodel. The restroom had to be accessible on Monday morning.

Solution: Strip the existing walls down to the studs. Attach Railset hardware directly to the rough concrete and studs. The rails were strong enough to pull the old steel studs into square. The rails plus studs were strong enough to support all the urinals.

Plywood sheeting was cleated to the Railset frames for perfectly square, level and plumb finishing surface.  Durable, cost effective finishes, 3mm porcelain and phenolic panels, were glued to the plywood. Averve’s Trimset decorative trim was used to finish panel edges and protect outside corners. Monday morning the restroom was beautiful and fully operational.
